Marcos leads DepEd’s Brigada Eskwela 2025 kick-off

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday led the kick-off of the Department of Education’s (DepEd) Brigada Eskwela 2025 in Bulacan.
At Barihan Elementary School in Malolos City, Marcos and Education Secretary Sonny Angara checked the proposed construction plans for the flood-prone school.
They also joined parent volunteers in installing a new blackboard in one of the classrooms.

Marcos and Angara will then proceed to Tibagan Elementary School in San Miguel, where they will visit a Khan Academy-empowered class and witness the installation of a brand-new Smart television.
These activities at both schools were part of the preparations for the upcoming start of the 2025–2026 school year on June 16./mcm
