LUCENA CITY — Police anti-illegal drug operatives in Taytay, Rizal arrested four suspected traffickers during buy-bust operations on June 4 and 5, seizing shabu worth over P931,000 and an illegal firearm.
The Police Regional Office-4A (PRO-4A) reported that members of the local drug enforcement unit arrested “Aldref” at 9:20 p.m. after he sold P1,000 worth of shabu to a poseur buyer in Barangay San Juan.
Operatives seized from the suspect one sealed plastic sachet and one knot-tied plastic containing suspected shabu weighing 107 grams, valued at approximately P727,600 based on the Dangerous Drugs Board’s assessment of P6,800 per gram.
When frisked, police also found Aldref carrying an undocumented .38-caliber revolver loaded with three bullets.
The report identified the suspect as a high-value individual (HVI) on the police drug watch list—a designation for financiers, traffickers, manufacturers, importers, or known members of drug syndicates.
At 12:10 a.m. on June 5, the same police team also arrested “Amero,” “Pido,” and “Mark” in another sting operation in Barangay Dolores.
Authorities seized eight sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 30 grams, valued at P204,000, from the suspects.
The report classified Amero as an HVI, while his two associates were identified as street-level pushers on the police watch list.
