Magnitude 4 earthquake jolts Casiguran, Aurora

MANILA, Philippines — Intensity IV was recorded in Casiguran, Aurora after a magnitude 4.0 earthquake struck off the town on Saturday evening, the state seismology department said.
In its latest bulletin, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the tremor, which was of tectonic origin, occurred at 7:07 p.m.
Its epicenter was located 13 kilometers southwest of Casiguran.

The depth of the quake was two kilometers, Phivolcs said.
No aftershock or damage in properties is expected from the tremor.
