Lawyer shot dead in Cebu, wife in critical condition

CEBU CITY — A lawyer died while his wife was critically injured after two still unidentified gunmen shot them inside their house in Singson Village in Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City, on Monday afternoon.

Lawyer Salvador Solima succumbed to a gunshot in the head, according to to SPO3 Rommel Bancog of the Cebu City Police Office homicide section.

His wife, Verose, was also shot in the head and was in critical condition, Bancog said.

Police have yet to determine the motive behind the attack. /atm
