MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has issued a clarification as it resumed the implementation of the No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP).
The agency is making it clear that it did not release any list of camera locations.
In an X post on Thursday, the MMDA shared a screenshot of a post showing a supposed list of locations of NCAP cameras, and saying that “it is fake.”

The MMDA warned that the public should be critical of what they read on social media and avoid sharing “fake news.”
“Whether or not someone is looking, make it a habit to obey traffic laws. Adhere to discipline on the road at all times,” it asked motorists.
The government resumed the implementation of NCAP on May 26.
It is in effect all the times along the 10 radial roads in such as Edsa, Commonwealth Avenue, Roxas Boulevard, Taft Avenue and Aurora Boulevard./apl
