Tricycle driver yields P4-M shabu in Cavite buy-bust
LUCENA CITY — Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives and police arrested a tricycle driver, said to be a big-time trafficker, and seized shabu (crystal meth) with a street value of more than P4 million in Dasmariñas City, Cavite on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 3.
The PDEA–Region 4A, in a report posted on its Facebook account, said that its agents and police officers from the Cavite Maritime Police Station collared “Acmad” in a buy-bust operation at around 1:55 p.m. in Barangay (village) H2.
During the operation, the suspect, a resident of Barangay Datu Esmael, was allegedly caught in possession of 600 grams of suspected shabu valued at P4,080,000.

The PDEA was investigating further to determine the source of the illegal drugs peddled by the suspect.
Acmad was classified as a “high-value” target in the government campaign against illegal drugs.
The suspect was detained and is facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /das
