Dangerous heat index forecasted in 36 areas in PH on June 3

MANILA, Philippines — Guiuan, Eastern Samar, was forecast to sizzle with a 47°C heat index on Tuesday, June 3, falling within the “danger” level threshold, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

The weather bureau also reported that 35 other areas across the country are expected to experience a dangerous heat index. These areas are as follows:
