MANILA, Philippines — The implementation of the dry run of the odd-even coding scheme in the Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (Edsa) on June 16 will be postponed, according to Transport Secretary Vince Dizon on Sunday.
This came after President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ordered the suspension of Edsa rebuild for a month.

“Hindi na muna kasi pag-aaralan muna natin ulit. Hindi na muna matutuloy yan sa June 16,” Dizon told reporters.
The traffic scheme was originally set to start during the P8.7-billion Edsa rebuild project, which is expected to run from June 13 until 2027.

The Metro Manila Development Authority earlier said that the dry run aims to give the public ample time to adjust to the traffic scheme. /jpv
