Cloudy skies with rain prevail across PH on eve of May 12 polls

MANILA, Philippines — Cloudy skies with rain will prevail nationwide on the eve of election day, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
In its 4 p.m. bulletin on Sunday, the state weather bureau warned of cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Batanes and Babuyan Islands due to a frontal system.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated showers or thunderstorms brought by easterlies.
Pagasa also said that no Low Pressure Areas are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation as of 2 p.m.
