MANILA, Philippines — As the country observes Mother’s Day, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has expressed his appreciation to all mothers nationwide and their unconditional love.
On Sunday, Marcos posted a photo with his wife, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, his mother, former First Lady Imelda Romualdez Marcos, and his sister Irene Marcos-Araneta, along with a collage of other mothers carrying their children.
“Mothers are the quiet strength behind every family. They care, nurture, guide, and give of themselves without asking for anything in return. Their love knows no bounds—and neither does their sacrifice,” Marcos wrote on Instagram.

“Ngayong Mother’s Day, taos-puso kong kinikilala at pinasasalamatan ang lahat ng ilaw ng tahanan. Maraming salamat sa inyong walang kapantay na pagmamahal at pagkalinga,” he added.
(This Mother’s Day, I sincerely acknowledge and thank all the lights of the home. Thank you very much for your unparalleled love and care.)
