MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday said he is no longer ready to talk peace with the communist rebels.

This came days after Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) founding chair Jose Ma. Sison said they would be declaring a holiday truce.

“These communists, I’m no longer ready to talk to you. I’ve done it before,” Duterte said in a speech during the awarding of child-friendly cities and municipalities in Malacañang.

“Magmukha lang tayong gago (We will only look like fools),” he added.

The President again slammed Sison for his attacks against him.

“You insult me, I insult you. Do not go home here,  I promise you, I’ll slap you,” he said.

“If you insist to return, s*n of a b*tch, I’ll slap you,” he also said. “Pakain ko sa’yo ‘yung pustiso mo, leche ka.”

Duterte has initiated peace talks with the CPP but negotiations failed after some differences between the two parties. /kga
