Ex-cop caught selling shabu in Baguio

BAGUIO CITY-A former police officer, who was convicted and then acquitted for a previous drug charge, was caught selling suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) on Tuesday night (January 23), according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Carlos Lagayan, a former Senior Police Officer 4, was detained after he sold two plastic sachets worth P20,000 to undercover agents during a drug buy-bust along Laubach Road.

PDEA said Lagayan was concealing four more sachets after the arrest. The agency did not provide additional details about Lagayan’s previous drug case.
