Barely one year old, Sofia Venise Fajardo has been diagnosed with leukemia.
Fajardo鈥檚 grandmother, Catherine Razon, said that the young girl has been confined for more than three months at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) where she remains in an isolation ward due to her delicate condition.
鈥淔or a baby like her, she cannot cry anymore due to the numerous injections she gets every day [whether] antibiotics or [during] chemotherapy,鈥� Razon said in Filipino.
鈥淚 can鈥檛 stand looking at her being in pain, that鈥檚 why I am asking for help from your readers,鈥� she added.
