Pre-Christmas gift-giving launched

TABANG Sugbu Karon, one of Cebu City’s charity organizations, will hold a pre-Christmas gift-giving and feeding outreach mission at the Alaska-Mambaling Elementary School on Dec. 8 at 7 a.m.

Toys, rubber slippers, and clothes will be given to 1,000 targeted beneficiaries from the Cebuano and Badjao communities around the school, said the organizer, Metro Cebu Christian Church (MCCC).

This activity, themed “Imong Gasa sa Pasko,” is a collaboration of local companies, local government unit of Mambaling, Helping Other People Everywhere (HOPE) Worldwide, and Tabang Sugbu, the charity arm of MCCC. It also marks Tabang Sugbu’s 14-year presence in the area.
