MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said floodings have been reported at several roads in Metro Manila on June 6.
As of 5Â p.m., MMDA listed these roads as follows:

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on June 2 declared the onset of the rainy season in the country.

On Monday, Pagasa said the Southwest Monsoon is seen to bring cloudy skies with rains and thunderstorms in Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Zambpanga Peninsula, BARMM, and SOCCSKSARGEN.
Dwellers in these areas were warned against possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains. /mr
