In a Facebook post, Pagasa said that as of 8:00 in the morning, the LPA was last seen 480 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas.
“[The LPA] has a ‘MEDIUM’ chance of development into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours,” the weather bureau said.
If the LPA becomes a full-blown typhoon, it will be named “Auring” and will be the first tropical cyclone in June and even in 2025.
