MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte arrived home on Thursday night after her trip to Qatar and the Netherlands over the past week, her office said.
“Vice President Sara Z. Duterte returned to the Philippines on Thursday, 05 June 2025, arriving at Ninoy Aquino International Airport at approximately 7:40 p.m.,” her office said in a bulletin.
“The Vice President is expected to address relevant matters in the coming days,” it added.
Duterte was in Qatar last Tuesday for “thanksgiving” activities with overseas Filipino workers and Sen. Imee Marcos.
The Vice President then went to the Hague, Netherlands to mark her birthday last Saturday by visiting her father detained in the International Criminal Court.

Her arrival in the Philippines came six days before June 11, when the Senate is set to present the articles of impeachment against her.
Duterte has been charged with culpable violation of the Constitution, bribery, graft and corruption, betrayal of public trust and other high crimes, particularly her alleged misuse of P612.5 million in confidential funds. /das
