NBI agents arrest 3 trafficking suspects in Davao Oriental
DAVAO CITY – The National Bureau of Investigation– Southeastern Mindanao Regional Office (NBI-SEMRO) arrested on Tuesday three individuals allegedly involved in qualified child trafficking and online exploitation of children in Barangay San Jose of Lupon town, Davao Oriental province.
NBI SEMRO Director Archie Albao said presented the suspects to the media on Thursday morning.
Albao said the entrapment and arrest was ordered by NBI Director Jaime Santiago on force of a warrant issued by Judge Emilio Dayanghirang of the Regional Trial Court of Lupon.

“We have sufficient evidence, all the evidences are under forensic examination of the Bureau. Aside from the conduct of surveillance, we also have poseur as viewer,” he said.
Albao said during the entrapment, children were live on camera.
“They were on live streaming. Customers will have to pay before they can access. The children involved are minors aged 13, 11, 9, 7 and 4,” Albao said.
“This kind of operation, this is international,” he added./jpv
