MANILA, Philippines 鈥� Packs of marijuana and marijuana oil valued at a total of P451,320 were seized from a 30-year-old male in a Marikina City buy-bust operation, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said.
The drug sting took place on Tuesday evening in Barangay Malanday, the NCRPO detailed in a statement on Wednesday.
The operation resulted in the confiscation of seven sachets and 10 medium-sized vacuum-sealed packs of suspected kush as well as 10 cartridges and 12 vacuum-sealed packs of suspected marijuana oil, the police further said.
鈥淚nitial valuation placed the confiscated marijuana at approximately 300 grams, valued at P450,000.00, while the 22 milliliters of marijuana oil were pegged at P1,320.00,鈥� it added.
Meanwhile, the NCRPO identified the suspect only as 鈥淎ce.鈥�

The suspect is detained at the Marikina City Police Station鈥檚 custodial facility, awaiting charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act.
The confiscated suspected drugs were turned over to the Eastern Police District Forensic Unit for laboratory examination. /das
