MANILA, Philippines — Thunderstorms are expected to affect Nueva Ecija and Bulacan provinces on Monday morning, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
Based on Pagasa’s 10:23 a.m. advisory, Nueva Ecija and Bulacan will have moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds within the next two hours.

Meanwhile, the following areas are currently experiencing heavy to intense rainfall and thunderstorms:
- Zambales (San Antonio, San Marcelino, Castillejos, Subic, San Narciso, San Felipe, Botolan, Cabangan, Iba, Palauig, Olongapo)
- Tarlac (San Jose, Capas, Bamban)
- Pampanga (Porac, Floridablanca, Bacolor, San Fernando, Minalin, Santo Tomas)
- Bataan (Morong, Hermosa, Dinalupihan)
The state weather bureau said downpours may also persist in nearby areas over the next two hours.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards, which include flash floods and landslides,” it added./mcm
