PNP promotes public info chief to brigadier general, 10 cops to colonel

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) promoted its public information office chief, Col. Randulf Tuaño, to the rank of brigadier general.
This came in a memorandum from the PNP’s liaison to the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) dated May 28.
“Respectfully forwarded are the attached letters from Secretary Juanito Victor C. Remulla… conveying his sincere congratulations to the following PNP officials who have been promoted to the next higher rank,” the memo read.
Tuaño became PNP public information chief last January.

Meanwhile, the following officers were promoted to the rank of colonel:
- Lt. Col. Vicente Oligario Amante
- Lt. Col. Jeffrey Bonaobra Bilaro
- Lt. Col. Cheryl Paler Yatar
- Lt. Col. Mark Anthony Melmida Andrade
- Lt. Col. Regina Narag Basco
- Lt. Col. James Mejorada Dime
- Lt. Col. Christel Marie Calumpit Nobleza
- Lt. Col. Benjamin Aguirre Cruto Jr.
- Lt. Col. Eric Reyes De Venancio
- Lt. Col. Roger Ubongen Mangaoang
