Fire kills 1 and injures 2 in barangay North Signal, Taguig City

MANILA, Philippines — One died while two others were injured after a blaze hit a residential area in Taguig City on Wednesday morning, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
In its latest update, the BFP stated that 11 of its personnel and two ambulances responded to a fire that started at approximately 7:27 in the morning.
The site was a residential area at Kamagong Street, Barangay North Signal, Taguig City.
The BFP raised the first alarm at 7:33 a.m.
The situation was put under control by 7:53 a.m.
The blaze was completely extinguished by 8:02 a.m.
In a Viber message, the BFP told ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV that there is no information yet on the identity of the person who was killed.
Meanwhile, the fire bureau said the two injured were both female, aged 32 and 50.
The 32-year-old woman sustained burns on the right elbow, left forearm, left thigh and right knee.
The 50-year-old woman was seen fainting.
She was immediately treated by a barangay health worker and then brought to the North Signal Super Health Center.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
