MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Air Force (PAF) has begun relocating the personnel and equipment of the Major Danilo Atienza Air Base from Sangley Point, Cavite, to Cagayan De Oro.
The relocation process began last May 3, PAF acting spokesperson Col. Ritza Ann Jovellanos said in a Camp Aguinaldo briefing on Tuesday.
“The old Lumbia Airport will now be the home of the Trojans, yung 15th Strike Wing natin, para mabigyan ng mas malaking space,” Jovellanos detailed.
