MANILA, Philippines – The Land Transportation Office (LTO) said on Saturday the driver’s license suspension of a female moto vlogger will remain in effect until she surrenders the motorcycle used in a viral road rage incident in Zambales.
In a resolution signed by LTO Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor Mendoza, Alyana Mari Aguinaldo, or popularly known as “Yanna”, should bring her motorcycle to their Central Office in Quezon City to lift the suspension of her driver’s license.
The LTO said in a statement that its decision was made clear to Yanna during her visit to the LTO Central Office on Friday to get a copy of the resolution in relation to the sanctions imposed on her.
Yanna was earlier found guilty of Reckless Driving (Section 48 of Republic Act (RA) No. 4136 or the Land Transportation and Traffic Code), operating a motor vehicle without side mirrors, and using a motorcycle without attached plate number (Section 18 of RA 4316).
She was fined 2,000 for reckless driving and P5,000 for using a motorcycle without side mirrors.

Meanwhile, LTO Intelligence and Investigation Division chief Renante Melitante said that Yanna explained during their meeting that she did not appear in the two hearings and chose to send her legal counsel instead due to “security reasons.”

Melitante then told Yanna that “there is a need to surrender the motorcycle over suspicion that it is not registered since it has no license plate.”
“Yanna Motovlog was provided with the copy of the resolution in relation to her cases but did not pay the fines,” the LTO said.
