PDEA, cops seize P3.4M shabu in Bacoor City bust

LUCENA CITY, Philippines — Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents and maritime police on Saturday, May 17, arrested an alleged big-time trafficker and seized shabu (crystal meth) worth about P3.4 million in Bacoor City, Cavite.
The PDEA–Region 4A said in a report Sunday that PDEA agents and Cavite Maritime Police operatives collared “Eugene,” 30, in a buy-bust operation in an open parking lot of a shopping mall in Barangay Habay 2 around 3 p.m.
Seized from the suspect were 500 grams of suspected shabu worth P3,400,000

The PDEA was investigating further to determine the source of the illegal drugs.
The suspect, a resident of Tondo, Manila, was classified as a “high-value” target in the government campaign against illegal drugs.
The suspect will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /lzb
