MANILA, Philippines — Children of former President Rodrigo Duterte are back together as seen in a photo posted by Davao City 1st District Rep. Paolo “Pulong” Duterte.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, the lawmaker said the get-together was a “meeting for Thanksgiving.”

“Not everything will always go the way we want it to, but there is always something to be grateful for. Family meeting for Thanksgiving! See you all soon! We miss you Pa,” he wrote on Facebook.
Seen in the photo, which was also shared by Veronica “Kitty” Duterte on an Instagram story, were Vice President Sara Duterte, Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte, and Rep. Duterte in a room.
In the 2025 midterm elections, former President Duterte was elected mayor of Davao City. Sebastian was elected vice mayor, while Paolo won his third and final term as Davao City’s 1st district representative.
The International Criminal Court currently has custody of former President Duterte after he was arrested and sent to The Hague for crimes against humanity he allegedly committed during his administration’s drug war.
Dubbed as Oplan Tokhang, the anti-drug campaign is believed to have left at least 6,000 people dead, but human rights groups have reported that at least 20,000 were killed.
