MANILA, Philippines — Authorities confiscated P204 million worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) from a private resort in Bulacan province on Thursday, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
The seizure of the drug was the result of an entrapment operation on Old Barrio Road in Barangay Minuyan, Norzagaray, the PDEA said in a statement on Thursday.
The operation also led to the arrest of three suspects: Cavite residents “JB,” 21; and “Jessie,” 44; as well as Quezon City resident “Kristina,” 36.
“The suspects were apprehended after they sold two kilograms of shabu, with an estimated market value of P13.6 million contained inside plastic bags to a poseur-buyer,” the PDEA said in its statement.

“When operatives searched their belongings, they were found to have in possession 28 more kilograms of shabu worth P190.40 million,” it added.
The suspects were taken into police custody, awaiting cases for violating the Dangerous Drugs Act. / MR
