Slow traffic seen as repairs in Taft-Buendia intersection in Pasay start
MANILA, Philippines — The intersection between Taft Avenue and Buendia Avenue in Pasay City will have a traffic slowdown starting Thursday due to drainage repairs.
This advisory has been issued by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
DPWH said the project is set to be finished in about three months.
“The repair works will start on May 15, 2025 at the intersection of Taft Avenue and Buendia Avenue, in front of DLTB Co. Bus Company, and are expected to be completed by August 2025,” the DPWH said in a statement.
“Motorists are advised of traffic slowdowns in the area, and to take alternate routes to minimize inconvenience,” the department noted.
“The closed lanes will be opened immediately after the repairs,” it added./apl
