INQToday: Duterte defense team challenges ICC
Former President Rodrigo Duterte’s legal team has taken a step to formally challenge the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court (ICC) over his arrest for alleged crimes against humanity, appealing that he be released immediately and the case against him be nullified.
Defense lawyers Nicholas Kaufman and Dr. Dov Jacobs made the appeal in a 38-page “Defense Challenge with Respect to Jurisdiction” dated May 1, saying that there is no legal basis for the continuation of the proceedings against the former president.

PR firm denies contract with China, being trolls
The public relations company accused of being tapped by the Chinese embassy in the country to do social media operations in favor of China has denied that such a contract exists, adding that they are not internet trolls who use deceptive methods.
In a statement on Friday, InfinitUs Marketing Solutions insisted that it is a law-abiding Filipino company and added that it has no agreement with the Chinese embassy or any foreign government to conduct disinformation online.
