MANILA, Philippines — Three male Grade 12 students, all 18, were arrested in Manila for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl.
The Manila Police District (MPD), in a report released on Tuesday, identified the suspects as John Mark Mabansag, John Mark dela Cruz, and John Emil Cepra, students of a high school in Port Area.
Police alleged that Mabansag invited the girl to a drinking session at his house on the night of April 5. When she experienced dizziness during the drinking session, the girl told police she went to another room to take a nap.
At around 2 a.m. on April 6, the suspects took turns raping the girl, according to the MPD. She left Mabansag’s house four hours later and went to a friend, whom she told about the alleged assault.
