Driver faces rape charge of live-in partner鈥檚 15-year-old sister

MANILA, Philippines — A 22-year-old driver was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting his live-in partner’s 15-year-old sister, a report shared by the Manila Police District (MPD) said on Wednesday.
Police identified the suspect as Ricky Malinao who is now facing charges before the Manila Prosecutor’s Office for violating Republic Act No. 8353 or the Anti-Rape Law.
According to the report from the Delpan Police Station, the incident took place on Tuesday morning at Purok 3, Isla Puting Bato, in Barangay 20, Tondo.
Based on the victim’s testimony, she was asleep and was awakened when she felt the suspect touching her private parts, telling her not to tell anyone.

However, the victim’s brother entered the room and caught the suspect in the act, police said.
Following a complaint from the victim’s family, barangay police and Delpan Police Station personnel arrested the suspect on Tuesday afternoon.
