3 street pushers in Batangas yield P146,000 worth of shabu, gun
LUCENA CITY, Philippines – Batangas police arrested four alleged street pushers in buy-bust operations on Friday, March 28, and seized over P146,000 worth of crystal meth, locally known as shabu, and an illegal firearm, the police said.
The Calabarzon Police Regional Office (PRO4A) reported Saturday, March 29, that anti-illegal drugs operatives in Batangas City nabbed “Odlanyer” and “Jerby” at 10:49 p.m. after they sold P500 worth of shabu to a poseur buyer in a transaction in Barangay Calicanto.
Seized from the suspect were five sealed plastic sachets containing shabu, weighing a total of 15 grams worth P102,000.

In Lipa City, members of the police drug enforcement unit collared “Nelson” and “Ace” in a sting operation in Barangay Bolbok around 1:20 p.m.
Seized from the suspects were five sachets containing meth weighing 6.52 grams grams valued at P44,336.
During routine frisking, the cops reportedly found Ace carrying an undocumented caliber .45 pistol loaded with four bullets.
The four arrested suspects are identified as street-level illegal drug peddlers in the localities.
All suspects are under police custody and will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Ace will also face another case for illegal possession of a firearm and violation of the election gun ban.
