President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday alleged that former president Rodrigo Duterte is taking fentanyl.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Monday said it will halt all proceedings related to the signature drive for amending the 1987 Constitution via people鈥檚 initiative (PI).

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will appeal to the House of Representatives and other people鈥檚 initiative initiators to stop the 鈥渄readed鈥 scheme, Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri disclosed in Monday鈥檚 plenary session.

Zubiri, in his speech, said Marcos believes the move is now 鈥済etting out of hand.鈥

CNN Philippines has formally announced that it would shut down operations, expressing gratitude to its staff, partners and viewers for their support over the past nine years.

In an advisory on Monday, the broadcaster said it would 鈥渄iscontinue operations on all media platforms effective Wednesday, Jan. 31.鈥
