Cops arrest man with hand grenade in Pasay
MANILA, Philippines – Anti-criminality officers have arrested a suspect for unjust vexation and illegal possession of an explosive device in Pasay City, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said.
Police have identified the suspect as Michael Loberiza, 36.
In a statement, the NCRPO said that during the conduct of anti-criminality operations, authorities received information that a leader of a criminal group who is listed as most wanted person was allegedly seen along Lawaan St., Brax 145, Zone 16.
When operatives went to the location, they chanced upon Loberiza standing. The suspect then shouted at the arresting officers saying, “Gusto niyo sumabog kayo?”

This prompted the policemen to arrest Loberiza.
One suspected hand grenade and one black pouch were seized from the suspect, the NCRPO said.
The suspect and recovered evidence were held at the Pasay City Police Station for proper documentation.
