2 drug suspects busted in Sorsogon, CamSur; P300K shabu seized

LEGAZPI CITY – Police arrested two drug suspects in separate buy-bust operations in Sorsogon and Camarines Sur on Monday, police reported Tuesday.

Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol region police spokesperson, said Zarrjay Lasap, 32, was arrested in Irosin, Sorsogon at around 6 p.m.

Lasap earlier surrendered to the police and was included in the illegal drugs watch list.

Police recovered two sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth) worth an estimated P500.

In Calabanga, Camarines Sur, Rommel Medroso was arrested in Barangay San Vicente at around 3:06 p.m.

Medroso sold 11 sachets of shabu worth P300,000 to an undercover agent.

The suspects were charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
