SAN PEDRO CITY–Over two Chinese nationals, working in a Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) company, were turned over to police anti-kidnapping group (AKG) after claiming they were victims of “abduction” by their fellow countrymen.

A report from the Calabarzon police on Saturday named the foreigners as Yang Kun and Yang Jian Xin, both residents of Makati City.

The two claimed to be employees of a POGO firm but the police report did not specify which one or where the company is located.

The two had escaped and found their way to a gasoline station in Barangay Bisita Balsahan in Kawit, Cavite on Saturday afternoon.

Village officials, who initially responded to the scene, turned them over to the Cavite police.

The police did not disclose how the victims were able to flee their alleged abductors, as the case is now being handled by the AKG in Camp Crame, Quezon City./lzb
