NBI ordered to probe death of PMA cadet Dormitorio

MANILA, Philippines — Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra has ordered the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to conduct an investigation on the death of Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Cadet 4th Class Darwin Dormitorio.
In a Department Order No. 503 issued Monday, Guevarra told NBI Director Dante Gierran to conduct a case build-up on the hazing of Dormitorio.
“If evidence warrants, to file the appropriate charges against persons found responsible therefore,” Guevarra said.
Dormitorio died last Sept. 18 in Baguio City. /je
