FEATURED STORIES

Logarto was a senior high student at the Tanauan School of Arts and Trade and a resident of  Zone 5, Barangay Cabuynan, Tanauan.

Senior Insp. Delfin Dingky Boy Bardillon, Tanauan police chief, said Logarto went to the beach on Wednesday for a post New Year celebration.

While he and a friend,  Santiago Tenchera, also 17, were on board an inflated tire interior that they used as floaty, they were hit by strong waves.

Tenchera was able to hold on to the floaty until he was washed ashore. But his friend lost his grip and went missing./lb
