Cops nab 2 shabu users in Pasay City

Two men were arrested by the Pasay City Police while allegedly in the act of using shabu early Saturday morning.

In a report, police said suspects Farnel Montoya, 27, and Peter Berbenzana, 38, were arrested while using shabu along Khai Street in Barangay 201 Zone 20.

Police said the shabu using session was reported by a tipster at around 5:00 a.m.

When approached by police, the suspects allegedly tried to run but were soon arrested.

Seized from the scene were two small plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, police said.

The suspects are now detained at the Pasay City Police Station as drug charges are being prepared for filing against them. /muf
